Handwritten Fortune Scroll

Sometimes the present is unbearable. The foggy future seems friendlier. When you imagine tomorrow, are you filled with solace? Fear?

What's to come is an illusion, a cunning and tempting promise of relief. There is only the here and the now.

A fortune scroll brings no enduring respite, but it may help you imagine a tolerable present. Like that feeling when your kitty comes over and presses her head against you without being summoned (and she's not even hungry!!!). Or the smell of guavas puckering on a tree. Or getting stoney on a warm summer night with your pals when it doesn't feel like anybody wants anything from you. You're just chillin'.
